What it is

You've decided AI matters and you know you need to act — but you're not willing to commit to a direction you don't actually believe in. The pressure to “do something about AI” is real; so is the risk of buying a strategy off the shelf and inheriting someone else's conviction. This is for the team that wants its own conviction about AI, not a direction bought off the shelf.

This is my anchor engagement. Over about 60 days, I work inside your organization to surface the gap between how leadership sees its AI readiness and the reality underneath — across People, Work, and Systems. It combines structured surveys, on-site observation, and hands-on executive teaching, and ends with a written diagnostic and a live walkthrough with you. The output is your leadership team's own conviction about where AI creates real value, in what sequence — not mine.

Half day

Strategy and orientation, not tooling: the state of AI, the framework, what I heard from leadership and the organization, and where it points. Distinct from the hands-on session.

The shape of the engagement

Weeks 1–2

Intake + surveys

Pre-engagement intake across the leadership team; the executive and organizational surveys go out and stay open long enough to reach the full organization.

Weeks 3–4

On-site

Two-plus days on-site — structured interviews and direct observation across the operation, timed once the first survey signal is in.

Weeks 5–6

Training + synthesis

The private CEO working session and the executive AI orientation, alongside synthesis of what the surveys, interviews, and observation surfaced.

Weeks 7–8

Diagnostic + debrief

The written diagnostic, delivered in a live 90-minute walkthrough — with time to pressure-test the sequence with you before it's final.

About Tyler

I’m Tyler Scriven.

I've spent my career designing powerful company cultures and operating at the messy intersection of innovation and real problems inside real organizations — large and small, as an operator, a CEO, a board director, and an investor. Now I'm fortunate to do it as an advisor to CEOs and leadership teams trying to make sense of the moment we find ourselves in.
